OUR PURPOSE

To be Good Ancestors for future generations. We believe it is our responsibility to ensure the world we leave
behind is better than the one we inherited.

WHAT WE DO

We help mission-driven organizations build workplaces where people and purpose thrive. We focus on inclusive leadership, aligned team cultures, and practical programs that work for those they serve. Our grounded approach is shaped by hands-on experience across education, tech, development, non-profit, and corporate sectors.

OUR APPROACH

The Ubuntu Way is how we turn values into action—by centering people, listening deeply, and building what truly serves. Grounded in lived experience and shared power, we believe change starts with human connection. We co-create programs, cultures, and leadership practices that reflect who you are—and deliver lasting, meaningful impact.

OUR VALUES

Our five core values are the compass behind every partnership, every program, and every conversation—because how we do the work is the work.

LEAD WITH EMPATHY

We believe that empathy is essential for creating inclusive workplaces. We strive to understand the real-world needs and emotions of our team and the people we serve, and we use this understanding to develop solutions that are both functional and meaningful.

PRACTICE INTEGRITY

We live our values authentically, unwavering in our commitment to ethical conduct. Whether in the spotlight nor behind the scenes, this dedication to aligning our actions with our words underpins the trust within our team and with our valued clients.

CULTIVATE CURIOSITY

We nurture a culture of curiosity, where we constantly challenge our assumptions, actively seek fresh perspectives, and encourage the cross-pollination of ideas to spark creativity. This commitment allows us to keep a beginner’s mindset and drives the development of innovative, tailor-made solutions for our end-users.

EMBRACE BOLDNESS

We challenge established norms and structures that perpetuate exclusion and inequality. Our approach combines best practices with daring innovations, all aimed at dismantling the status quo and ushering in a more profound and lasting positive change.

CELEBRATE PROGRESS

At our core, we recognize that our work is part of a larger human endeavor, one that transcends our individual lifetimes. We understand that the impact we create today will resonate into the future. In light of this, we hold a steadfast belief in cherishing the journey and commemorating our advancements as we navigate it.

MEET THE FOUNDER

I started Ubuntu Leadership with one guiding purpose: I founded Ubuntu Leadership to help leaders design workplaces where people thrive and do their best work. Across sectors — from academia to tech to global NGOs— I’ve seen how the biggest challenges in organizations are often cultural: unspoken tensions, burnout, disconnection, or misalignment between values and action.

We help organizations uncover what’s really going
on beneath the surface and co-create practical, people-centered solutions that last. As a Black woman, I bring lived experience of navigating the complexities of culture, power, and performance inside large systems. That perspective shapes how I help organizations move beyond surface fixes — and lead with clarity, integrity, and care.
